Biography
Freddy Allen Barron Sr., is a husband, father, son, uncle, brother, and friend, but most importantly, a man who loves God. Born in El Paso, Texas, I was raised by my grandmother and grandfather, whom I give much credit for who I am today. At the age of six, we moved to Yuma, Arizona, where I spent the next 30 years of my life. There, I attended school and earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Arizona Western College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Sociology, and a post-graduate certificate in Life Coaching from the Grand Canyon University. Currently, I attend Liberty University in pursuit of earning a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.
In 2014, I married my wife Tahrita, and God has blessed us to share six children: Janessa, Jasmine, Fiona, Daniel, Freddy Jr., and Arilla. My family is one of life’s greatest blessings. Another great blessing in my life is serving in ministry. At the Rose of Sharon Church Of God In Christ in Yuma, Arizona, I served in many capacities in that ministry. I served as the Minister of Praise & Worship, Musician, Sunday School Superintendent, Director of Youth Development Programs for the Boys to Men group and participated in the local, district, and state choirs. In 2018, my family and I moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia, and we joined the St Stephens Church Of God In Christ, where God blessed me to continue to work in ministry there as well. Currently, I serve as a Deacon, Praise & Worship Coordinator, and Media Director.
Outside of church ministry, I began FB Enterprises LLC in 2020, which is my company where we believe in FAMILY, LEGACY, and FAITH. We demonstrate our passion by producing books, music, and offering life coaching services. At FB Enterprises, we are driven to inspire, dedicated to pursuing excellence, and determined to make a positive impact! In 2022, I was recently inspired and founded my nonprofit organization called Pursue Excellence. Pursue Excellence is committed to educating, developing, and empowering the next generation of our leaders. At Pursue Excellence, we offer college scholarships, financial advising, mentorship, and coaching services.
